TEHRAN (IQNA) – At least five Palestinians were injured with rubber-coated steel bullets when Israeli forces violently raided the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus before dawn on Monday, according to official Palestinian Authority (PA)-owned Wafa news agency.

Wafa reported that Israeli forces raided the city around dawn, provoking local youth to throw stones at the armed soldiers.

Israeli forces reportedly fired tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets at the youths, injuring five.

The injured were treated on the scene.

Wafa added that four Palestinians were detained from Nablus city and the surrounding villages.

Israeli raids on Palestinian cities, villages, and refugee camps are a near-daily occurrence.

Due to the violent nature of the raids, clashes often erupt between Palestinian youth who throw stones and Israeli forces who fire rubber bullets, live ammunition, and tear gas.
