According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Iranian Cultural Center in New Delhi hosted the religious program, which was addressed by Hojat-ol-Islam Mahdi Mahdawipur, representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in India.
He clarified the verses of Surah Maryam and elaborated on the life and virtues of Hazrat Maryam (SA) and the two prophets, Jesus (AS) and Zakariyya (AS) in the Surah.
Surah Maryam is the 19th Surah (chapter) of the Quran and is a Makkan Surah with 98 Ayah (verses). It is named after Maryam (Mary), Mother of Jesus, who appears in verses 16–34.
