New Quran Exegesis in Persian to Be Unveiled at Tehran Expo

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A new exegesis of the Holy Quran will be unveiled at the 27th Tehran International Quran Exhibition, an official said.

 

Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Naqdi, managing director of the Tarjoman-e Vahy (translation of revelation) Institute told IQNA that Kowsar is the name of the Quran interpretation.

He added that Qom Islamic Seminary scholar Ayatollah Yaqub Jafari has written the new Quran exegesis in 12 volumes.  

Ayatollah Jafari has spent 22 years to write the grand work, Hojat-ol-Islam Naqdi said.

He went on to say that the Quran exegesis will be unveiled in a ceremony on Friday.

The 27th Tehran International Quran Exhibition is underway at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) with the motto of “Quran, Meaning of Life”. It will run until May 25.

It is annually organized by the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan.

The exhibition is aimed at promoting Quranic concepts and developing Quranic activities.

It showcases the latest Quranic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
