Special Moukeb in Shiraz during Muharram
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A moukeb dubbed “ship of salvation” was set up in Shiraz during this year’s Muharram mourning processions.
The naming refers to a hadith by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which reads, “Hussein (PBUH) is the light of guidance and the ship of salvation.”
Moukebs offer food, drink, or other services to pilgrims or mourners.
