Jordan University Holds Quran Recitation Workshop
Titled “An Introduction to Quran Recitation”, it was organized virtually on Zoom, according to Khabarni website.
Abdullah Abu Shawir, a professor of the university’s Faculty of Theology, taught lessons related to different aspects of Quran recitation at the workshop.
It was aimed at helping the students of the university learn about the basics of Quranic recitation sciences like Tajweed, Sawt, Lahn, and pronunciation of words and letters.
At the end of the workshop, the participating students described the lessons offered in the program as valuable and beneficial.
Amman Arab University (AAU) is a Jordanian educational institute of higher education located in the Arab country’s capital.
It was founded in 1999 as a private and non-profit institution that offers specialized courses at the MA and PhD levels.
It is a member of the Association of Arab Universities and League of Islamic Universities and has different faculties such as literature and humanities, educational sciences and psychology, architecture and pharmacology.
