IQNA to Hold Int’l Webinar on Modern Jahiliyyah’s Confrontation with Monotheism

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international webinar titled “Strategy of Modern Jahiliyyah to Counter Liberating Rationality of Monotheism” is set to be held at International Quran News Agency with participation of speakers from different countries.

Slated for February 1 at 9:30 AM GMT, the webinar will be broadcast live from Aparat and Roytab. The related stories will also be published at IQNA.

Speakers include Iranian lawyer Dr. Sohrab Anbaraki, Chairman of Islamic Human Rights Commission Dr. Masoud Shajareh, Representative of Lebanon’s Supreme Islamic Shia Council in Sweden Sheikh Yusuf Qarut, former Iranian diplomat Dr. Mohsen Pakayin, religious leader of Iranian Jews Rabbi Younes Hamami Lalehzar, and head of religious freedoms at Salam for Democracy and Human Rights Structure Hojat-ol-Islam Shobbar Al-Mousavi.

The webinar comes as far-right politicians in Europe have staged a new wave of Islamophobic attacks in recent weeks. Swedish Danish extremist Rasmus Paludan has burnt copies of the Holy Quran in Sweden and Denmark and a desecration of the Quran was also recorded in the Netherlands.

Muslims across the world have strongly slammed the desecration of Islamic sanctities, calling on the European governments to prevent similar acts.
