Another Mosque Opened in Chechnya Capital

In the village Chernorechie of Grozny a new mosque named after Sheikh Deni Arsanov is now opened to public.

 The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, heads of ministries and departments, religious and community leaders of the republic, the press service of the government and the region.

The construction of Mosque was funded by Regional public fund named after the first president of Chechnya, Akhmad Kadyrov, and it is designed to have a capacity for 70 people.
It is built on top of a hill. Walls of the building are decorated with green and white marble. The area around the mosque is lined with paving stones, benches and outdoor lighting fixtures, planted with fruit and ornamental trees.
In his speech, Ramzan Kadyrov said that the country creates comfortable conditions for believers. "We are building mosques, Ziyarat, spiritual institutions. Today we encourage our young people to respect the canons of religion, to be God-fearing and compassionate" - Ramzan said according to his press-service.
Chechnya also has one of the biggest mosques in Europe and world.
The Heart of Chechnya Mosque, named after Akhmad Kadyrov, the first President of the Chechen Republic, is one of the largest mosques in Europe.
It can accommodate more than 10,000 people. The total area of the Islamic complex is 14 acres. An additional 10,000 believers can also pray in the adjoining summer galleries and square. The height of the four (the highest in Russia) minarets, surrounding the Heart of Chechnya, is 63 meters.
