Culture Ministry Supports Short Films with Quranic Themes
Speaking at a Quranic conference in Aran and Bidgol, central Iran, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati said artists who create Quranic artworks will also receive support from the ministry.
He said the culture ministry aims to attract the youth to Quranic teachings and pondering over the messages of the Holy Book.
He also referred to the Quranic programs held in the country during this year's holy month of Ramadan and said Quranic activities in this Ramadan developed in terms of both quality and quantity.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Heshmati said the culture ministry plans to launch a comprehensive portal of Quranic activities where information will be available about all Quranic authors, memorizers, reciters, Quran institutes and organizations active in Quranic fields.
