According to Iran’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, Mojtaba Mohammadbeigi will represent the country in the competition’s recitation category.
Mohammad Davoud Fallahi Meybodi will compete for Iran in memorization of the entire Quran, the organization said.
It added that Quran master Mutaz Aghaei will accompany the two Quran activists as a guide.
The 8th edition of the international Quran competition will be held in Kuwait City on April 12-19.
Last year, Iran’s representative Ebrahim Tabassomchehreh came third in the recitation category of the international Quranic event’s 7th edition.
