According to Alseraj website, Quran memorizers were honored in three branches of the center in different parts of the country.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman Walad Hadan, head of the center’s board of directors and its founder, said that the educational center was established 11 years ago and started its activities with 6 students.
There are more than 300 students in the three branches of the center today, he added.
He noted that it has achieved a great success in the field of Quranic education with more than 200 Quran memorizers, including 50 girls, having managed to graduate from the center.
Mohammad Walad Aslamo, representing students' parents, thanked the officials of the center and said that many of the parents have learned religious injunctions from their children.
The center has three branches in the cities of Nouakchott, Rosso and Boghe. It plans to train 600 Quran memorizers in the next two years.
