This stage of the competition, named Hessa bint Muhammad Prize for the Noble Quran, will run through March 10.
This is the ninth edition of the Quranic event, , according to WAM news agency.
It has been organized by the Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Institute in cooperation with the Arab country’s Education Ministry and its Islamic Affairs and Awqaf Department.
A total of 130 girls, including 63 school students and 67 students of Quran memorization centers compete in this stage.
They have made it to this round from among 314 school students and 165 students of Quran centers who took part in the previous round.
They compete in 11 categories on memorization of the Holy Quran at different levels and age groups.
