TEHRAN (IQNA) – Difficulties sometimes make people tired or even disappointed, however, there is ease with each difficulty. This is a divine tradition according to the Quran.

“Surely with difficulty is ease. With difficulty is surely ease.” (Surah Al-Inshirah, verses 5-6)

The words “ease” and “difficulty” have both been mentioned here. Some interpreters believe the verse says there is ease after each difficulty.

Meanwhile, some interpreters believe that these two words do not refer to a sequential order but a co-existence. Accordingly, difficulty and ease are intertwined. The verse wants to announce this divine tradition that ease is hidden in every difficulty.

These verses point to difficulties that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) encountered in early Islam. His efforts to introduce Islam were met with harassment by infidels in Mecca and hence, God Almighty gives this good tidings to the Prophet that he should not be afraid of these difficulties because there is also ease in them.
