Planned Competition Aimed at Identifying Quranic Talents

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization plans to organize a nationwide Quran contest in the near future.

The competition will be organized for teenagers and youths aged between 15 and 22.

Dubbed “Iran Grand Prize”, it is aimed at identifying Quranic talents in this age group and introducing them to the society.  

The organization’s officials have not revealed any more information about the planned Quranic event.

The Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization annually holds the country’s National Holy Quran Competition for those aged above 18.

It also used to organize a Quran contest for those aged 18 and below but the Education Ministry has been tasked to hold it in recent years.
