Some 10,000 memorizers from across the country took the exam today.
The Imam Hussein (AS) University hosted the examination in Tehran and there were 77 examination centers in other cities of the country.
It was held by the Dar-ol-Quran Kareem Organization in the fields of memorization of the entire Quran, memorization of 20 Juzes (parts) of the Quran and memorization of ten Juzes of the Quran.
Those passing the exam will receive degrees that are equivalent to high school diploma (memorizers of ten Juzes), BA (memorizers of 20 Juzes), and MA (memorizers of the entire Quran).
The exam results will be announced via the Telavat website of the Dar-ol-Quran Kareem Organization on June 11.
The Dar-ol-Quran Kareem Organization is affiliated to Iran’s Islamic Development Organization.
It oversees Quranic activities and grants permissions for publication of the Quran
in the country.
