It was attended by representatives from the IRIB Quran TV, the Quran Radio, and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force as well as Ahmad Abolqassemi and Hamid Reza Ahmadivafa from the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization.

During the Wednesday meeting, the participants discussed coordinating plans for the activities of the convoy.

The Quranic convoy will comprise Iranian Quranic figures, qaris, memorizers and activists.

Like previous years, they will travel to cities in different provinces across the country to hold Quranic programs during celebrations marking the anniversary of the 1979 victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Last year, nearly 9,000 Quranic circles and recitation programs will be organized by the convoy.

Every year, millions of Iranians across the country observe ten days of celebrations marking the anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution that put an end to the monarchy of the US-backed Pahlavi regime in the country.
